Financial Help for Clergy with Children of School Age

The Rustat Trust, which is administered by Jesus College, Cambridge, provides assistance to clergy with children of school age. The Trust is able to give small grants for any educational purpose, including provision of uniforms, school meals and transport costs. Although all deserving cases will be considered, the Trustees would particularly like to help clergy below the status of incumbent with children at maintained schools.

The deadline for this year’s Fund was 1st December 2010.

Potential applicants who fear they may miss the deadline are encouraged to contact the Dean’s Secretary (at the email/ phone number below) as soon as possible.
In addition, Rustat bursaries are available for children of clergy who gain a place to study at Jesus College. The intention is to attract good applicants from clergy families and to supplement the successful candidates’ maintenance awards, diminishing their need to take out student loans. The Trustees would be grateful if this aspect of the Fund could be drawn to the attention of any families who have children contemplating an application to Cambridge, and who would therefore be eligible

Information about awards for 2011 - 2012 will be available later in the year but any queries can be sent to the contact information below.
