Presentation of Parish Profile

The profile should be as attractively presented as possible.

It is good to use colour.

Photographs showing the church building (inside and out), anything particular about the building or your situation and examples of parish events are helpful.

The profile needs to go on the Diocesan Website so an electronic version is helpful. If you as a parish are able to prepare an electronic version it can be given to the Archdeacon by email or sent on a CD.

(If you do not have the possibility of doing this then it can be done in the Archdeacon's Office if you send the text of the profile and also any photographs.)

Photographs that are inserted should be reduced in file size so that the final document is not too large to upload onto the web or for prospective candidates to download on their computers. As a general rule the final document should not be larger than 3MB.

We do not need to produce as many paper copies of profiles because many people now ask for the documentation via email or download it themselves directly from our website.
