Flowers to celebrate 900 years

As the next event in the 900th year celebrations St Giles' held a flower festival - "Gilesgate down the Ages".
The church was filled with stunning flower displays depicting everything from St Godric through to the DLI.
The festival was opened on Friday 13th July by Mrs Caroline Welby in the context of a concert by the Cobwebs Baroque Chamber Ensemble, all washed down with a glass of Pimms!
