Nick Rowark has been in full time youth ministry for 15 years. After working as a volunteer youth worker, he took up his first full time post as Youth Pastor with St. John’s Church in Woking, Surrey.
Our Youth Adviser spends most of his time working with parishes that have existing youth work or are wishing to get things going. He also supports the paid workers within the diocese currently numbering 16 and of course the many volunteers that serve young people. Much of his time is also spent running training courses, special events and reviewing new youth work resources, as well as taking part in regional and national working groups.
After taking up a position for The Boys’ Brigade as Project Manager in 1995 Nick moved to the diocese in June 1999 and as part of the Education team based at Carter House, took up his current role of Youth Adviser.
