The Board of Education is responsible for Diocesan mission and ministry to young people in parishes and schools

In Durham Diocese we believe that parishes and church schools jointly stand at the centre of the church’s mission to the nation and together enable children, young people and their families to grow in understanding of themselves, their world and the Christian faith.
